DOLPHIN FERRY CRUISE Morning Cruise to Carlo Point. Lunch at the Rainbow Beach Sports Club. Departs
Barnacles Kiosk, Norman Point, Tin Can Bay at 10:45 am. Return departing Rainbow Beach Sports Club at 2:00 PM. Have a swim in the surf, walk along the beach to the Coloured Sands. Bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and a smile. A courtesy bus operates between Tin Can Bay Backpackers and Barnacles Kiosk and between Carlo Point and Rainbow Beach. Combine Ferry/Lunch Ticket Adults $ 18.50, Concession $ 16.50 and Family $ 20.00 (includes 2 adult meals, children meals extra).

FRASER ISLAND RENT A YACHT-SAIL TRAINING A practical and instructional 3 day 2 night sail training Course covers components of the AYF(S) National Training Schemes including;
  • Introduction to Sailing "Introductory Certificate".
  • The Small Craft Safety course
  • The National "Competent Crew" Certificate
  • Elements of "Inshore Skipper" Competencies
Competency gained in these courses are accepted Nationally and Internationally. The 3 day voyage is restricted to the partially smooth waters of the Great Sandy Straits of Fraser Island and the Southern Coral Sea. The voyage includes 2 night sailing legs, instruction and assessment. Maximum number of students per voyage 5 (five).

YELTUKKA PINEAPPLE PLANTATION Group tours over the plantation to see how pineapples are grown and
harvested. A field crew can be observed picking and packing pineapples for the market. The farms drainage and soil erosion control is also discussed. The Tour passes the farms small animal nursery housing domestic pets such as lambs and calves. A feature is the billabong on the drive to a platypus observation deck situated on Tinana Creek. The platypus, large lizards and goannas and different bird life are often encountered. The tour returns to the farm store to see the fruit processing before departure.
